Sony’s enigmatic PS3 Slim has finally had an official announcement of sorts (yet another one (http://www.sankakucomplex.com/2009/08/01/ps3-slim-appears-on-amazon/)), by way of major US supermarket Kmart.
The PS3 Slim will, according to their website, be available for preorder on the 24th of August, at a respectable pricepoint of $299.
Official pictures are still lacking, but this probably means the previously revealed designs (http://www.sankakucomplex.com/2009/08/12/ps3-slim-in-pictures/) are close to the mark.

Additionally, price cuts on the old, fat models are due, not that anyone wants them now…
