Cencoroll (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=8264)'s AIT presents story of bear cub looking for late mother's treasure
The 3D computer-graphics anime Love Rollercoaster will premiere on the NHK (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/company.php?id=494)-Educational public broadcasting channel in Japan on Monday morning. The story centers around a young bear cub named John. On the night of his 10th birthday, John receives a letter from his grandfather with a message from his mother. John's mother tells him that, by the time John reads the letter, she would have passed away . However, she tells John of a present — a treasure that has been hidden away. With his later mother's encouragement, John embarks on a journey to find the treasure.
The computer animator Hiromasa Horie wrote, designed, directed and animated the series himself. Anime Innovation Tokyo (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/company.php?id=8337), a joint collaboration between THINK (Neko Rahmen (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/manga.php?id=9845), Synthesisa) and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to foster young creative talent in the anime field, helped bring the Love Rollercoaster project fruition as it did (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2007-01-16/anime-innovation-tokyo-introduces-first-project) for another project from a one-man anime studio, Cencoroll (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=8264).
