Story about shōgun-era lord's life on the road between home and capital

The story is set in Japan during the Edo period (1603-1868). To control his daimyō lords, the shōgun orders them to move back and forth from their provincial home and to maintain a second home at the capital half of the time. The story follows the long journeys of the daimyō Kumada's family between the capital and the family's Okayama home in southwestern Japan.
The same Morning 2 issue also features the launch of Mugenjima, the first published manga by illustrator and game graphic designer Yūkei Nakagawa.
