The game localization company JAST USA has announced (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/press-release/2009-07-03/jast-usa-forms-game-licensing-partnership-with-nitroplus-co-ltd) on Friday that it has licensed the rights to release English-translated versions of games from the Nitroplus (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/company.php?id=1583) studio. The first release from the new partnership will be Zanma Taisei Demonbane (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=6512), the inspiration for the 2004 Demonbane video anime and the 2006 Demonbane television anime series. More information about this game and future releases will be available (http://www.nitroplususa.com/) at the partnership's official English website. JAST USA's current catalog (2009-2010) mentions another Nitroplus title, Jingai Makyō, in addition to Demonbane as upcoming titles.
The Hirameki International (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/company.php?id=1732) Group once translated and sold visual novel software, including Phantom of Inferno from Nitroplus, in North America. However, Hirameki International announced (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-01-06/hirameki-no-longer-publishing-interactive-visual-novels) that it would "bow out of publishing Interactive Visual Novels as of January 2, 2008."
